From the Rooftops, Brooklyn Grown Sweet Basil by Gotham Greens

In New York City, Sweet Basil is not just associated with a Jazz club now closed.

Sweet basil can be also found on rooftops of Brooklyn.

It is amongst the range of herbs and greens grown by Gotham Greens in their Greenpoint greenery.

In Gotham farmers sprout cash crops, Crains New York notes that Gotham Farms will operate a rooftop farm above new Whole Foods location in Gowanus area when it opens. It will produce some of the produce sold in the store.
