The Hospices of Sonoma holds a number of events over the week-end including a tasting and auction Saturday afternoon, May 3rd at the Santa Rosa/ Kaiser Air Center.
It is modeled after the Hospices de Beaune affair in Burgundy.
Amongst the 40 or so Pinot Noir Producers featured this year, I noticed one of my favorites Schug.
They are all from the Sonoma Coast, Russian River Valley, Green Valley and Carneros appellations.
Cost per Person for the Barrel Tasting and Auction is $150.
