Professional Taste Tester, Is it the Best Job Ever asks Vicki Frost

Unless you have issues with food, would being a professional taste tester qualify as Best Job Ever asks Vicki Frost (Guardian).
She met Bronwen Percival, a cheese buyer at Neal's Yard Dairy (London), Dee Blackstock, a champagne buyer for Waitrose, and Micah Carr-Hill, head of taste for Green & Blacks chocolate to find out.

On the same topic, Catherine Donaldson-Evans penned Professional Tasters Eat and Drink for a Living (Fox News, January 2004).

Can you suffer palate fatigue?
How many foods or wines will you taste before you loose sense of their distinct flavors?
In what order do you approach your sampling?

I usually pick things I do not know or ask the producer for suggestions.

In the grand scheme of things, perceptions can vary anyway.

What would be your dream job?

This is Job Idea Number 6
