According to Alex James, the Foodie Boy, Chickens are chic and Pigs are the ultimate status symbol he writes in his June 24 column.
After sharing his hangover greatest hits, he moves on to describe how ducks can put him in a daze like a good glass of sherry (I quote).
As for chickens: "The chicken brethren are more enthusiastic than Alcoholics Anonymous. I've never met a chicken owner who wasn't trying to persuade everyone to get some."
He goes even further with our friend 'le cochon': "The pig is the thinking person's fast car and tequila slammer rolled into one."
Even Brian Ferry wants pigs on his estate states Alex.
This surely would please Stephane Reynaud.
This whole 'down on the farm' spirit reminded me that Brian Ferry and his combo, Roxy Music did release an album named Country Life back in 1974.
