Our friends in New Orleans sure need a helping hand and visitors to the city.
One thing they have plenty of is restaurants and a dizzying array of foods as the Summer Restaurant Guide published by Gambit Weekly proves.
Rather than give us an encyclopedic view of the scene, the guide is organized (in alphabetical order) around the main ingredients that define one or a group of eateries.
We start with Alligator (Alligator Sub Sandwiches anyone), for E along comes the Escargot, F has a little Frog, R brings a Rabbit out of its hat, Ze Frank cannot be found at Z but Andouille, Franks and other Sausages should be.
I will not go over the long list, I will let you explore it at your leisure.
Feel free to share with us your own New Orleans favorite food joints in words and in pictures.
Bon temps roulez!
