Bitches Brew to Abraxas, Mati and The Music: 52 Record Covers 1955-2005, Add to Holiday Gift List

My most recent close encounter with the art of Mati Klarwein was (in 2007) while I walked my way through Summer of Love exhibit at Whitney Museum in New York.

His mix of mysticism, fertility and an open view of the world was on display.

I am sure that fans of Miles Davis, Santana and others will be happy to find Mati & The Music: 52 Record Covers 1955-2005 (RM/Librairie 213, October 2012, distributed by D.A.P ) in their holiday gifts.

Your Christmas Tree Travels for Free on Air Berlin International Routes

I rarely find inspiration for a story in marketing emails as many senders tend to rehash the same old saw.

I make an exception with Air Berlin's invitation to those flying its international routes for the Xmas holidays to take along their Christmas tree.

Airline says that this treat is especially popular on flights from northern Europe to Spain.

"Since December 1st, Air Berlin flight guests can get their Christmas tree (up to two meters/six feet in height) transported free of charge. This service applies to the whole of airberlin’s international route network, and flight guests should notify the company’s Service Center at least 48 hours prior to departure."
