Domingo Sneaker Gets Its Own Launch Party in London, December 4

Invitations to wine tastings for early 2012 including Bordeaux Grands Crus and Slow Wine Guide have started to roll in.

More unusual is invitation to come and celebrate the launch of Domingo Sneaker (by VEJA) in the UK.

It is also a bit short notice since party is in London on Sunday, December 4, 2011.

VEJA wants to distinguish itself from run-of-the-mill shoe companies by its green, fair trade and socially conscious approach.

What makes a Domingo?

      "The wedge sole is made from wild rubber tapped in the Amazon, the canvas is weaved using organic     cotton and the sneaker’s leather trims are tanned without chrome, actually with acacia extracts."

I would not mind spending Sunday in London yet how green can flying to London from New York and back for a day be?
