Various projects underway in Europe related to electric cars remind me of a question a speaker raised at South by Southwest 3 years ago. Do we need to own all the toys, tools we use, should we share them or find way that they are available when we really need them?
Once you start thinking about it, a rejig is required.
In Holland, The New Motion is not a car sharing service. What it did is create an Electric Car Eco System from tutoring new drivers, monitoring costs, matchmaking between customers, manufacturers, dealers, to helping set up powering stations and let's not forget financing.
