Toucan Sur Mer, Not A Resort, The Place for Wine and Oysters in Brussels

Want to feast on oysters with a good bottle of wine to wash them down, Toucan sur Mer is not a resort yet the place has a relaxed seaside atmosphere to it.

Amongst the oysters they offer Belon No 5 from Cadoret, Colchester Naze, Normande Helie, Fine de Claire Barrau, Spéciale de Quiberon Keraliou, or Spéciale Gillardeau...and what they claim as their exclusive for Brussels: the Black Pearl which I have not tasted.

Browse through the wine list and you will see all regions represented.

From the Loire for example:

Pouilly Fumé - «Silex» Didier Dagueneau 07 155,00

Anjou - Mosse René et Agnès 07 39,00

Montlouis « Le Rocher des Violettes» Xavier Weisskopf 07 39,00

Quincy « Vignes d’Antan » Dom. Jacques Rouzé 08 35,00

What would oysters be without Muscadet? Check the board for Muscadet of the moment.

If a meat eater who does not eat seafood tags along they could always try one of the 2 meat dishes, the Beef Tartare.

(* Prices are in Euros of course)

I also like the look of their...

You don't need to turn into Scrooge. Making some of your decorations, giving a second life you objects, even toys like Legos, baking cookies, creating your cards, being crafty can bring back the joy of gifting...
