Reign of Terroir, Thomas Dolby of Wine

I first thought I had read reign of terror, when Reign of Terroir it was.

Wine has always had its methods. Reign of Terroir looks deep into it or as they put it "From the Vineyard to the Glass, Winemaking in an Age of High Tech", a recent piece is titled HAC(k)ing a Wine, The New Science Of Cork Taint (December 5, 2010).

Their approach echoes in some ways Harold McGee explanation of food put under the miscroscope.

Reign of terroir

Not an everyday read maybe, rather a site you check now and then when you get a scientific urge to know.
