Legos Find New Purpose in Life as Jewelry, Reware Style by Emiko

I found out in my Cooking for Geeks interview that one could build an ice-cream maker with Legos.

Now I discover that Legos can get a second life as jewelry.

Emiko Oye calls it Reware Style and offers a few illustrations of her creations on emiko-o reware (her blog).

You can also purchase some of them via her Etsy Shop...

For example, the aegean 1x4 bracelet above (in addition to repurposed Legos, sterling silver, rubber stretch cord) for $145. I assume everything is a one of a kind.

Gift ideas for a Green Holiday 2010.
