Too Cold for Ice Cream, Frutta in Cartoccio by Jody Williams of Gottino, NY, in Coco

I traveled as far as London with Ice Cream Truck gets Kitty Travers into Coco's Galaxy with Book by Phaidon, I guess just because she had caught my attention first.

I failed to notice and mention Jody Williams of Gottino in New York, one of the 99 other chefs featured in Coco the book.

Jody Williams shares her Frutta in Cartoccio Recipe (illustration below, from Coco, the book) on the Gottino site.

Frutta in Cartoccio Jody Williams

Her Frutta in Cartoccio is "Quince & Heirloom Apples baked in Paper with Vin Santo and served with walnut bread and triple milk cheese"

Gottino is a wine bar, they say 'enoteca', I like 'bodega' better.

I will have to pay them a visit sooner rather than later.
