For the 6th year in a row, as Christmas and the end of the year festivities approach, food and wine bloggers around the world join in an effort to raise funds and awareness for the UN World Food Programme.
This year's event, Menu for Hope 6, kicks off at dawn on December 14, 2009.
Thanks to donors generosity, I will be able to offer 4 items you can bid on for as little as $10 and as much as you wish.
You will discover them as I unwrap them throughout Monday.
I am part of the US East Coast contingent headed by Helen of Tartelette…
Under the banner of Ed at Tomato, our friends from Australia and the Asia-Pacific region will have a head start on us as will Europe united by David Lebovitz of course.
We will take all bids offered via First Giving from December 14 to December 25.
The 2009 Edition of Menu for Hope benefits Purchase for Progress, a UN program buying food from small local farmers in turn providing them with a sense of stability.
Winners will be announced at Chez Pim on January 18, 2010
Tis' the season for giving!
