For your eyes only, unless the exhibit is accompanied by music from some of the great jazz musicians and singers featured, the Italian Government Tourist Board puts Sardinia on Display at the Times Center in New York from March 20th (Friday) to March 23rd (Monday).
The exhibit titled 'Solitude' blends Jazz and the wonderful sights of the island as captured in these black and white vignettes by Italian photographer Daniela Zedda.
Miles Davis, Dizzie Gillespie, Nina Simone, Michael
Petrucciani, Lester Bowie, Don Cherry, Liza Minelli, D.D. Bridgewater,
Miriam Macheba, and James Brown are just a few of the artists who inspired this project.
In our Consumed to Thrifty times, it is worth noting that this is a Free Event.
You can view the exhibit from 11am to 7pm.
