We often act silly for no good reason so why not be a clown for a good cause for a change.
In the UK, if you have some talent or just don't mind donning a costume and entertaining the crowd put on a red nose and help raise funds to help others on Red Nose Day, Friday the 13 of March that is.
You can also Shimmy, Shake and Belly Dance your way to it as Clare Chick and her pals will.
Red Nose Day reports that "they’re planning to shimmy their way around Stafford’s pubs
and clubs to collect money for us on Friday night whilst spreading some
Comic Relief cheer."
Introverted wine lovers amongst us can do their share with Wine Relief by following the example of Graham Norton (picture above, from site) and purchase the Red Nose Red or the Red Nose White produced with SAAM Mountain Vineyards in South Africa.
- The red wine is a Pinotage Shiraz and the white wine a Chenin Blanc.
- It has a RRSP of £4.99 with a £1 donation to Comic Relief and will be sold in most major wine retailers.
- The wine label features artwork kindly donated by Damien Hirst.
It should make for a fun Friday the 13.
