Ready to start the year with a bang, building your wine collection, on February 2nd, 2008, Hart-Davis-Hart will host an auction of great French wines at Tru Restaurant in Chicago.

Willing to part with up to $48,000 (their sale estimate), you might be the lucky one fetching a case of Chateau Petrus 1982.
Also on offer are a single bottle of Domaine de La Romanee Conti 1943 (could go as high as $3000).
A case of the same wine, vintage 1962 rings at only $24,000.
For your blue cheese or dessert, go Sauternes, some Chateau d'Yquem (1948), 9 bottles for about $11,000.
