Just Over 50...Online and Not Ready for AARP...Matt Richtel (New York Times)

I am glad to see that for a change a newspaper or a magazine article does not confine itself to My Space, Facebook and the like and/or only twenty somethings when writing about social networking sites.

In New Social Sites Cater to People of a Certain Age, Matt Richtel (New York Times) explores the nascent interest of Silicon Valley into a group that I would call early boomers (not late bloomers) who have a life and have been somehow neglected by online offerings.

I especially noticed Tee Bee Dee whose tagline is 'Sharing Experience to Thrive'.

A site that has good and adventurous musical tastes gets my vote.

Some of us are Just Over 50 and Not Dead Yet.

It also happens to be the title I chose for the panel I want to offer at South by Southwest Interactive (2008).

Feel free to Comment and Give the early boomer your Vote via the Panelpicker.

The folks at Beams T call themselves 'Art for Everyday' and they prove it. On September 13, they hosted 'The...
