Need a Shot of Adrenaline: Fiesta of San Fermin (Pamplona) and its Bull Run provides it

While we are busy celebrating Independence Day here in the US, Spaniards and people looking for a rush of Adrenaline are getting ready for the yearly Bull Run providing the highlight for Fiesta of San Fermin in Pamplona.

The Council of Pamplona ('Ayuntamiento' in Spanish) provides a lot of valuable information to newbies with their Advice for runners in the bull run, a must read.

Do you know that the Fiesta of San Fermin can be traced as far back as the 13th Century.

In the late 1600's the holiday was moved from early October to the first week of July.

This year, the event kicks off on July 7th.

The publication of The Sun also rises by Ernest Hemingway in 1926 added to the Festival notoriety.
