I would not think of the Baltics as the first spot to go for Latin Rhythms.

Let the people from Latvia challenge our perceptions with the Riga Salsa Festival taking place from August 31st to September 2nd.
The event plays the latest sounds and some of the best instructors are on hand.
So if you want to loosen up and improve your steps check it.

The Riga Tourism site gives 10 other reasons to visit Riga. Besides its Medieval architecture they tell us that the Riga Central Market is the second largest in Europe.
Be warned of pickpockets according to them.
