Reach this week's finish line with a little help from 'Sugar High Friday'

Need help to reach the finish line this week. Get a sugar kick courtesy of Sugar High Friday.
I just went through last week's event roundup. Under the theme of 'Flower Power' (no psychedelic twist, edible flowers) it was hosted by Monisha of Coconut Chutney.

If you want the sweet without the pounds (or kilos in her case) go for Anne (de Paris) Strawberry and Mango Tartare with Orange Blossom.

Flowercake On the other end of the spectrum is 'Passion Fruit & Mango' Orange-Blossom Cake with Orange-Blossom Buttercream and Candied Flowers (showcased here).

When I do not have too much time on my hands, I just make a quatre quarts (four quarters, en anglais). I add to the mix, chocolate, nuts, fruits or whatever I have handy and feel inspired to use.
Here is a Quatre Quarts Recipe by fellow French Expat Estelle Broyer.

I hope this gets you going for the rest of the day.

And when you get home get baking!
