Trying to keep kids off junk and fatty food is a daily struggle.
New York City parents have a new option with Kid Fresh. Their first store opened earlier this year on the Upper East Side and brings back Fun into the Lunch Box with Grab and Go preselected meals in a box or if like most of us you have picky eaters Mix and Match which lets the kids do their own selection.
The store also offer cooking classes for kids and much more.

The company was co-founded by Matt Cohen and Gilles Deloux.

Funny enough, a somehow similar approach is found down under with Brisbane Markets Queensland Kids Fresh Net except that this program (pictured here) is a partnership with local schools (some 630 of them, no less).

Congrats to both ventures on their efforts to get kids into healthy and tasty food pairings.
