Haute Cuisine...Creating your own Grand Cru Olive Oil...Is it a Trend in the making?

Is a new trend gathering steam as jet setters set their eyes on Olives and Olive Oil as the new in thing to put your name and imprint on?
The 'How to spend it' article Grovey kind of love by Sudi Pigott published last week-end (sorry not available online yet) got me wondering.
From Umbria to Greece and Ibiza to Australia, former ballet dancers, publishers and even rock stars such as Sting and his wife Trudie (Il Palagio) have put their names if not their hands to work on creating premium brands of Olive Oil. Olive_grove
Armando Manni, a filmmaker turned 'farmer' seems to be the guiding light for many would be Olive Oil makers.
In the same fashion as what happened in the wine world, you can now find consultants ready (if you can afford them) to help develop your olive property.
Do not forget that it can take a few years  to bring back a neglected grove to its lively self. Patience is needed.
For those who do not want to get their hands dirty but like the prestige of serving their own grand cru olive oil at their parties, you can buy a single tree and a small amount of the precious  liquid will be bottled and shipped to you every year, a small indulgence for the haute food, organic lover.

It seems that Traineo wants to do for Fitness Training what The Daily Plate does for food. Traineo adds a support component as it allows you to set up a group (echoing in some ways ideas found at Weight Watchers and others) that can help you stay on track. One drawback is that Traineo's...
