If you checked my offerings today, the cupboard will be bare.
I had to attend a funeral in Brooklyn and it took a good chunk of my day.
It makes you have a different look at what matters as well.
Who wants to be remembered as 'He who blogged 10 times a day'
Another thing I got out of attending the service (at a local black church) was understanding where Janis Joplin got her inspiration and style from.
Yes I know, Janis, I show my age.
