After mentioning Bistrot des Cineastes yesterday and others in the past, it dawned on me that it could be a nice addition to 'Serge the Concierge' to feature A Bistro A Day.
Today's pick is Bistro de la Poste (above) in Brussels.
Nothing rational in my decision, when I browsed through their pictures, I liked the old timer scale in the window, the Chenin Blanc 08 by Loire Valley producer Olivier Lemasson of Les Vins Contes offered straight from the barrel. Does it reduce your carbon footprint, I don't know. The wine is natural.
The place feels like it has a life already, warm and fuzzy like a comfy couch with the fire crackling in the chimney on a damp night.
They are opened Tuesday through Saturday.
Lunch from 12 Noon to 2 PM
Reopens at 5:30 PM, Dinner service starts at 7 PM.
