Need some Space, Hop on a Wrightsair Plane to Birdsville or William Creek, South Australia

Not quite like landing on the moon but pretty bare wide open space I thought while reading Outback and beyond by Mark Jones in the December 5 Issue of How to Spend It (FT Week End).

In any case, if you need some space, want to take a first hand look at the Aboriginal land in South Australia get in touch with Wrightsair ('the spirit of the outback') and hop on a plane to Birdsville or the William Creek Hotel.

If you decide to drive around don't run out of water or gas.
