What got my antennas buzzing about The Wild Garlic was not Mat Follas being a 2009 MasterChef winner in the UK, garlic itself is responsible.
I am partial to garlic except in pastries of course.
Matthew Norman's review of The Wild Garlic, Beaminster, Dorset (Guardian, October 3) had me want to know more.
So I headed for The Wild Garlic blog and liked the idea that they asked the person who build/designed their nice wooden tables to come up with wooden plates to serve some of their seafood dishes.
Looks like Sardines (on picture above, from the blog).
What can be more simple, affordable and tasty (if you don't mind the bones) than Sardines, you tell me.
