Did not have a chance to give us the heads up, whether you were procrastinating or sleeping when our request for a vote hit your message or e-mail box, the door stays opened until Monday, September 7 at 11:59 pm.
The good people (Hugh, Kathryn and the rest of the Team at South by Southwest) decided to move the deadline a couple of days forward.
Is it a blessing or a curse especially when what we offered is called No Vacation Nation, Is Vagabonding the Right Medicine extolling the virtues of downtime.
As we all know, we are a tangle of contradictions.
That's why I had to use John de Graaf (of Take Back Your Time Day) illustration (above) for the Experience Life Magazine whose motto is 'Healthy, Happy, For Real'.
Will we try to stay sane this holiday week-end (in the US) and not go into overdrive trying to win as many extra votes as we can, time will tell.
Maybe we will just set things in motion so that our friends in Europe and Asia and South America and maybe even Africa can get their voice heard on Monday when they will all be busy at their desks or in their shops or wherever they perform their craft.
