Is my palate changing or is it just fun and nice to stray from my usual red wine picks once in a while. I did taste today a couple of whites that really pleased me and could not wait to share with you.
For the Consumed to Thrifty, the Ekeos from Fazi Battaglia, 100 percent Verdicchio combines good acidity, maturity and a slight Fizz all that for around $12, a steal.
If small productions make you salivate, the Collio Bianco Cicinis-Attems 06, a sauvignon blanc-tokai blend with only 1200 cases produced and a mere 150 for US must get on your list....Around $40 ....
