Where the first edition of Blog Action Day in 2007 was about Going Green, Poverty is the Issue for Blog Action Day 2008. I signed up today to add my modest contribution.
While some of us in the western world are changing our spending habits and going From Consumed to Thrifty, many others are just trying to survive on a daily basis.
On October 15, many voices will join in forces to make Poverty and Ways to Solve it Front Page News.
There are 3 ways to help on October 15:
- You can Publish a story on the topic
- Donate by using your days earnings to microfinance a loan or help a charitable organization
- Help promote the event every which way you can from posting videos, making posters, writing a song or a poem, you name it
