Does it make sense for automated phone calls or should I call them robotic sales pitches to try humor as a bait.
When it's a financial institution such as HSBC (one of its subsidiaries), I think not.
Unless it has to do with funny money, who wants to crack jokes about financial matters?
On top of that when you get the same call up to 10 times, besides being off base it becomes annoying.
So feel free to use a light touch, do remember that noise annoys.
