You start sniffing-snuffling for bits and pieces of information on a wine you bought a couple of days ago and before you know it land in Bottlerocket land.
You happen to find out about an event taking place this very evening (October 15, 6:30pm to 7:45pm) at Bottlerocket, a New York wine store and want to share it.
This class led by Michele Anderson wants to take the pain out of How to Navigate a Restaurant Wine List which can be an intimidating task depending on your wine knowledge and who approaches you.
The class costs $45.
Michele used to be the sommelier down under at the Four Seasons in Sydney and then founded Wine Angel a boutique import company whose aim is to introduce new and upcoming Australian producers to the American public.
