At first sight the title Art for housewives could have driven me away. I then noticed the interesting piece on Huilpil and Arpilleras (Mayan clothing for women) and it piqued my interest.
'Art for Housewives' tag line of Make Art not Trash should have clarified things for me at once. This is one of the projects from Cynthia Korzekwa, an Italian painter born in Texas, according to her bio.
I also like her simple suggestion: "The easiest way to change your looks is to stand up straight and smile."
I can relate as The French Guy from New Jersey.
