Reynolds Plastic Wrap with EZ Slide Cutter, a consumer product I love
No I am not feverish today, I do happen to love this new (to me) plastic wrap with EZ Slide Cutter from Reynolds.
It cuts the right size and neatly. No more struggle with the plastic or bloody fingers because of the blade. Just showing how even simple things can improve your daily life.
In case you wondered, Reynolds did not pay me to praise this product.
Read their page for a video and a how to on EZ Slide.

I, too, loved the ez slide saran wrap! Why don't you make a more substantial box and only sell the plastic wrap for that box! It would be a lot cheaper for you to produce and the ez slide lovers would have the product back!

I too would like to buy some more EZ wrap, I bought some about 6 or so months ago and I would not have thrown the box away if I knew I would not be able to find it again. Please Reynolds, read this and bring it back, or at least let me know how to buy more. L:ke all the other posts I too would be more than willing to pay the extra for the slide.

I love the cutter, makes the product a real winner. I used another brand, put in my old roller and now I still have it. I would pay the extra for the cutter without the fuss.

I too, could no longer find the Reynolds Wrap with the EZ slide in my local stores.
Just a few minutes ago, I replaced the empty EZ Slide box with another product that just fits. I am almost 80, and need a box that won't cut my hands.
Its a shame that they no longer sell the EZ Slide. Their loss............

I too loved the easy cut slider on Renyolds Wrap. I had stocked up on it a while ago and recently went to the store to buy more and discovered it had been discontinued. What a great invention for plastic wrap as it is such a pain to tear...now it is gone. I am sure that it may have cost more to produce but I will pay the difference for it...please bring it back!

I too love the EZ Slide plastic wrap. Before this cutter box I tried to stay away from Plastic Wrap. I do wonder why you did not include the end tabs to keep roll in box. This was a problem with it coming out of the box. Please bring back ( with tab locks on end)

I disagree with this entire thread. I love the colored wrap, but thought the EZ slide was a mess. It basically required 3 hands to operate. I was reusing my standard box and throwing away the EZ slide boxes as fast as I could. I was part of the negative feedback they got on this thing. I'm so happy they stopped this EZ slide foolishness

A friend has Parkinson's and I was so excited to tell her about the EZ slide boxes of wrap by Reynolds and then, to my great disappointment, find that the product is no longer available. She has such a terrible time with regular plastic wrap....as does the rest of the world! Bring it back, ple-e-e-ese!

I agree with all of the above. I wonder what possessed Reynolds to discontinue one of the best products ever! Please reconsider & bring it back.

I wish I had found this site sooner. I only have one slider box left and it is almost out of wrap. I'll re-use it, but as others have said, it won't last forever. Bring back the EZ slide!

I sent the following to Contact Us at the Reynolds website...I am writing to let you know that I, along with hundreds of other consumers are extremely frustrated that you have chosen to discontinue the Plastic Wrap with EZ Slide Cutter. It works perfectly to prevent having to peel the plastic wrap off the counter after cutting it off the average plastic wrap box and consequently wasting it. Finally you make a product that keeps that from happening, a product that is nearly perfect in its category and then you discontinue it! Where is the logic in that? Instead of discontinuing it for lack of sales, why not promoting it better than you did. I never once saw an advertisement for this product, but just came upon it one day, purchased it and am finally near the end of the 100 square feet. I have actually found websites where threads go on and on complaining about this, to the point where people want to boycott your other products out of pure frustration. I know that my email will not bring back the product, but at least I can vent and let you know that you have made me and many others very disappointed.

I also reuse the box with the ez slide cutter. I'll keep it forever.

I was going crazy trying to find more
ez slide cutters. Went to stores all
Spokane trying to find more. Was finally told they were discontinued? What for. They work great. Cut straight and true. Eazyest plastic wrap product to use I have ever seen.
I have two cutter boxes I saved. The refilles fit and I am able to use the
ez slide cutter. But they woun't last long. Please bring them back.

I cannot believe that you discontinued this very useful product. Until you bring back the EZ Slide plastic wrap, I am boycotting all other Reynolds products! Will the rest of you join me in this boycott?

I thought I was the only person who loved Reynolds EZ Slide Plastic Wrap. I, like the others on your website are very disappointed not to find it in the stores. I will not search any longer now that I know it was discontinue. I am very disappointed. It's the best plastic wrap product to have hit the market and I can't believe it is no longer available. I don't get it.

I too LOVE the EZ Slide product and was very dissappointed when I couldnt find it in any stores. I went online and found that I could buy it at Buythecase.com Look there if you still want it, before they are all gone. :)

I too would like to add to the other disappointed clients. My Dad is 89 and found this first and we love it. Please accept this positive consumer feed back. We want the EZ slide cutter back.

I finally remembered to go to the web about the disappearance of the Reynolds Plastic Wrap with the EZ Slide and I found this web site! It must be because of the cost but I'm going to call Alcoa tomorrow and let them know how much I love the product!! Hopefully, the more people that say they love it, the better the chance that it will come back!

Oh No ! I love my EZ Slide! PLEASE, PLEASE bring it back!!! I'm so glad I saved the last box, and glad to hear the regular roll will fit into it. So, I'll be okay as long as I can make the old box last.
But, please, Reynolds, BRING IT BACK!

i called reynolds 800 line and could not believe the string of b/s fed me re slide cutter alleged complaints.. it is obviously a cost cutting item.. nothing else. any other "reason" diminishes the name of the company. i salvaged my old container and the new roll fits in just fine. a little scotch tape will keep it servivable for a time. by then reynolds may wise-up and restore the slide cutter.

I could not believe it when I read the comments on this site and found that the EZ Slide Cutter has been discontinued. I thought that the stores were simply out and not able to keep up with the demand of such a great product. So in desperation I bought the seal tight plastic wrap and upon opening it I remembered why I was so thrilled with the EZ Slide Cutter. The sharp metal cutting edge is so dangerous and has to be handled so carefully, and I had a very hard time getting the plastic separated from itself so that I could unroll and use it. Please make my life easier again and bring back the EZ Slide Cutter. Thank you.
